How to Eat a Bagel – Homegirl Style!

Have you ever sat down with your bagel and cream cheese during breakfast time and realized…I can’t finish this, it’s too heavy in my belly, or…this could be crunchier? Well. I recently learned a way to prepare my bagel differently.

I personally think it’s pretty ingenious, a great way to cut calories (not that I care about calories), and it just tastes better.

Just to let you know, I don’t have anything against the way any of you may eat your bagel. Every way is the right way (generally speaking), but I think my way is AWESOME.

The secret is….taking out the bread in the middle. Not all of it, just some of it. Enough for you to pop into your toaster, wait 5 minutes, and BOOM. Crunchy Thin Bagel! And since there’s no more of that extra bread getting in your way…that just means..MORE CREAM CHEESE!

Trust man. It’s tasty–especially if you prefer your bagels on the crispier side. You should definitely try this method next time.

And if you don’t like it, you can always make a bagel quiche…
